Mc Kee`s Island Pub and Pizza in Soutd Hero

Nice little spot, the food was very good but they were pretty slow getting the food out to are table, other than that they were great!

So me and my wife arrived here expecting a symphony of deliciousness, as we have had on a previous visit. We were seated and were asked what our drinks would be. We ordered 2 sodas. 15+ minutes had passed. Our waitress had deemed it only necessary to wait on the other tables directly around us while never bringing us our drinks or acknowledging our existence. We then decided to leave. We are disappointed in them. Perhaps if they are more attentive in the future to all their customers, we will return and may give a more positive experience review.

Friendly island pub for locals and visitors to get a wholesome meal and a deserved libation.

Picked up two pizzas and they would rival any pizza place. It was delicious and we will definitely be eating in soon.

Nice spot to grab a local beer and have some food. It was pretty lively on a Friday night in November, so I imagine it gets busy during the warmer months. Unfortunately, we only had a few beers since we'd eaten in town earlier, but everything I saw come out of the kitchen looked yummy, especially the pizza.

Was looking for a quick bite and a beer, i walked in sat down at the bar was there approximately 12 minutes before a waitress even look my direction, there was only three people in the place meanwhile she answered the phone immediately on the first ring, still not acknowledging I was there, I got up and walked out, the sidewalk sign out front said help wanted, all they need to do is train the help they have, they might do a lot better. They didn't get any money from me today.

Wonderful service and great food. I had mac n cheese that came pretty close to my own homemade. Small space with a great atmosphere for anyone interested in great pub food. Also an incredible variety of wings to choose from you just cant go wrong here.

Tasty food! Got a burger and my husband got a calzone. Both were really good!

Great food! Service was a bit slow but friendly. Dining room could use some updates but it was a nice place to bring the kids (toddlers) and feel comfortable. Again, food was delicious (ordered pizza, burger and beer) and we would definitely return.

Quaint corner pub with more wing sauces than I could count!

Stopped in on the way to Burlington. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food as the place felt more pub than grub. The burger I had was well made with a balanced sauce.

Given nearly all tables were full, the service was quite slow due to a lack of wait staff. We waited 10 minutes for one of the three visible empty tables, then another 15 for menus, 10 more for beverages, 15 more to order then over 30 minutes for our food. Several other tables had similar waits. When we received our foid, (my wife had a gyro & fries, I had tortilini & broccoli in Alfredo sauce) it was just warm not hot. Given this was one of the few restaurants in the area, it was adequate but certainly not noteworthy.

We had heard good things about this place ... travelled over from NY to grab a bite. It was 62 degrees outside and they had the AC blasting. Everyone had coats on, we changed tables 3 times and finally left. Patrons at another table said staff had told them the AC button was stuck and no one could fix it. It would have been nice of the staff to explain that to us! They were not helpful or pleasant at all. Bummer.

Pizza was absolutely horrible, a few of the pieces looked old and like they were added From an older pizza. Just moved to the area and was hoping to become a regular but definitely don't plan on wasting my money here again.

Good selection. Wait for food was a little long. Waitress was stellar but kept forgetting things (beer, silverware, plates before apps came out). All in all, their burgers are fantastic.

We stopped by here after leaving ILM going to Vermont. There was one bartender...I mean she was the bartender/hostess/food runner/busser and what a worker she was! Clearly understaffed but she did her best and kept the positive attitude.We got some ice cold beer and a very tasty Pizza which is worth going back.Management needs to figure this one out and not let it go downhill and/or show up to assist. 5 stars because your bartender was top notch and your pizza was wonderful. -5 stars for being so understaffed.

Great burgers, pizza and staff!

Mediocre experience. My family is large, and due to covid-19 concerns we decided to sit on the picnic tables outside. They told us that because of their license they have to prepare takeout and then we can come inside again once it's ready and carry the food back to the table. We ordered several burgers, wings, and mac and cheese, and after about 45 minutes our food finally was ready. Burger buns were all completely soggy and fries were definitely reheated. It's also worth noting that the outdoor seating is right next to a loud road so it's not the most peaceful spot. If we were to return, and we weren't concerned about covid-19, I would definitely try indoor seating to avoid the takeout inconvenience and lower food quality. If you're looking for outdoor seating I would maybe go someplace else.

It was good but we take too long to get the food

Service was terrible! And if you go back to read the reviews, they've had terrible service for 4 years, and have had the help wanted sign up just as long. The pizza was good, but we ended up getting it to go because it was taking way too long. Really not worth suffering through the train wreck of service.

Picked up a pepperoni pizza! Love the toppings, the crust was okay crunchy/chewy. Which my friend liked.

This place has some amazing food for being a Pub the subs here are so delicious and well seasoned that i drove 45 minutes to visit this pub just for the delicious food

We’ve gotten take out probably 10 times now. They almost always forget something in our order. The food is okay. Some of the servers have been extremely rude, but others have been so nice and accommodating. Well go back out of convinience, but will always double check orders. They also usually take 40 minutes for an average order.

Such a great little pub. Food's great, beer"s great, staff's great. The dinner salads are a sight to behold. The wings are awesome as well. Would absolutely recommend.

The pizza was fantastic and the chicken wings were top notch. The poutine was out of this world. If you get a chance stop by for a bite to eat. The prices are just like everywhere else. The service is top notch, the girl was by herself with a full dinning area and she did a fantastic job. So again, stop by you'll be glad you did.

Nice local hang out with good chicken wings. They also have a craft beer selection, as well as the usual brews. Having driven by this place for years I ll swing in again it's worth the stop.

Probably one of the best pizza that we've ever had! Great crust, not hard or doughy - perfection! Greek salad was fresh. Im a French fry kinda gal and they were awesome!

The food was on point we got the bread pudding, pizza and shepards pie all was delicious

While admittedly the burger I enjoyed was good, the "chicken cordon bleu sub" that my husband ordered was little more than diced chicken, diced ham and cheese. He described a hot pocket to be tastier and that it was mostly bread. For the 45 minute wait, not worth it.

The Grand aisle pizza is great. Service was quick and she was very friendly.

McKees Island Pub has the best staff and cooks around. Everyone there is so sweet! Plus you cannot find better food in town without paying an arm and a leg. McKees is the best!
